Can't delete a folder from the desktop

I was cleaning up my bookmarks and dropped an entire folder of WEBLOC files on my desktop on the way to the trash. Now I can't delete the folder or any of the files within the folder. The folder is not locked. Any ideas?

Hi kristen287,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities. I see that nobody has answered your question yet. Below are some questions which may help others provide some assistance.

Can you describe what happens when you attempt to delete those files? For instance, are you getting a specific alert when you try to delete those files?

Kindest regards.
