Well Done!

  • eMail Apple a Screenshot: Do you have a snapshot of what was found? If so, send it to Apple as an attachment. Use this eMail: reportphishing@apple.com. The more reports Apple receives on this, the more their engineers will know what is going on and what to include in its security updates. • Don't Forget to Clear the Quarantine: The quarantine stores what was found. To Clear it:

Did this just "popup"? Or do you have some Security Software installed on your Mac that may have given you this message? If you do have such software installed, remove it from your Mac. It will just get in the way with its Parental Controls and Firewall settings. If you want to use something, Malwarebytes is the item to use, as mentioned by macjack.

Do you have malwarebytes installed on your computer? If not, go to malwarebytes.com>install for free. Run a scan. Check the quarantined folder. Clear quaratined folder. Open Safari>history>clear history. This will not clear any auto-fill info you have saved. Next go to Safari>preferences>extensions. Is there anything listed that you do not recognize. If so, I recommend getting rid of it. Next, go to the Apple in the top left of your screen>system preferences>users and groups. Highlight your user account>click login items. If there is anything there that you do not recognize, click the lock at the bottom left of this box>enter your mac password to unlock it>highlight the unrecognized login item>click the minus sign. Next empty your trash and restart your computer.
