I had a email telling me that RAT malware had infected my IPad and a hacker is requesting to be paid in Bitcoin to avoid contacting all my contacts with upsetting messages and images. Also worryingly it knows my password I use for a lot of sites.
If it wasn’t for the fact that it got my password correct I would just ignore this.
any advise please x
It is a scam. Forward the email as an attachment to:
reportphishing@apple.com
Then delete the email.
Stop using the same password for multiple sites.
One of the sites you used has been compromised
and the miscreants got your password from there.
