Bought refurbished I watch from amazon, trying to setup but needs update, after downloading updates my I watch is still preparing for installation of the updates and it’s over 2hrs

Some updates have been know to take a long time. Give another hour. If it still will not update stop the process and reset your watch by pressing in the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both.
