Go to getsupport.apple.com to schedule a callback directly from iTunes or schedule a callback through the Apple Support app. Discuss with the advisor that you're requesting a refund. There are no subscriptions for $40 for Apple Music. Could you possibly have had an outstanding balance? After the advisor verifies you, they will tell you what the charge is for. It is within your rights to request a refund. Depending on what the charge is for, it may or may not be granted.
