Try restoring or reseting your Mac. Reset your laptop, and before the chime hold command + R until the apple logo appears. If you have a time machine backup, click on restore from time machine backup and follow instructions. To reset that laptop, Also hold command + R before startup until the apple logo appears. Click on disk utility and erase Macintosh HD (unless you called it something else). Then quit (press red X) disk utility and click on reinstall macOS. Select your disk and wait. It will take about 2 hours to download depending on your wifi speed. When it is downloaded it will install macOS like an update and take you to your setup screen.

If you dont want to loose all your data try taking it into apple, making a genius bar appointment.
