I have just downloaded Gimp and have registered on its Forum but everything I click on shows up an error message below
When I click on Gimp in my Favourites, the link shows in the search bar with the words Not Secure in red which I think is probably the problem. Could this be the firewall stopping it from working.
Emails to Gimp appear to be ignored.
Any one any ideas please?

Safari 12 will inform you that the site is unsecured when you fail to use an https:// URI in the destination address, or if the site does not offer the encryption offered by hypertext transfer protocol secure (HTTPS).
maybe they changed the url so your bookmark is out of date
Welcome. There was an older version of that forum. Might be the one you found. There are other GIMP forums as well.
Thank you all for your answers. It's rather strange. The link I used was one I found by Googleing for Gimp so I guess it didn't have the https:URL in the address. However your link gave a completely different one which I have now saved and having logged in, found it works well. Again, many thanks everyone.
