Activation Lock....please help!

This iPhone is linked to an Apple ID..Enter the Apple ID and password that was were used to set up this iPhone.

I know the Apple ID and I have forgotten the password but how is possible to receive or retrieve an email ending with (i....com) on my iPhone whilst its locked.

is there a way to open your iCloud mail.?

please help
