Root Processes "Proetus" and "Alstroemeria"

Hi,

Does anyone know what kind of processes are "Proetus" and "Alstroemeria"?

Sometimes, my macbook pro's fans are running very high for no apparent reason, and when I check my monitor activity these processes are taking 100% CPU.

I keep searching for these root processes but I can't find any information.

Thank you all!!

Cheers,

Never heard of them. You might try running MalwareBytes Anti-Malware for Mac as you may have inadvertently installed Adware.

Adware variants often try to disguise themselves with randomly changing names.
