there's an option to send a text verification code or call verification code. I NEVER get the text.

Whenever i forget my password to Gmail, my bank, cable ect. and there's an option to send a text verification code or call verification code. I NEVER get the text. Any idea why? it's really a pain -__-

ipad verification code from websites that txt. when using website that sends a txt verification code it will go to my iphone but not my ipad. which typically not a big deal but sometimes forget my phone. i do get txt messages on it and send them and can start conversations but will never receive a verification code. it will do apple id verification but like ebenifits login and va healthcare website which i was trying to access will not..

SMS messaging is a carrier feature. You would have to ask your cellular carrier.
