for some reason I cannot text a photo, nor receive one from someone who has a google pixel phone. She and I have been texting photos for the several months since she bought it and have had no problems. But last night my photos were undeliverable and I cannot receive hers. What changed? It happens whether I’m using my iPhone or iPad. So frustrating and mystifying!

I checked my settings and MMS was already on. So, maybe this is an issue at her end with the Goggle phone.

This operation - to a non-Apple cellular device, is called MMS.
MMS requires:
An iPad cannot send or receive MMS by itself. It would have to use an iPhone in a Handoff to do this.
Actually, I’ve tried sending and receiving photos from another friend who has a Google phone and with whom I’ve shared and received photos in the past. Now, neither of us can receive the others photos. As I said before, we’ve been sharing photos for the past several months between my iPhone and their Google phones, with no problem. I’m baffled!
Any other suggestions?
