I'm trying to run bootcamp. The partition gets made fine and then computer restarts. Booted into windows and get to where it asks which partition to install on. I select bootcamp partition, but it is the wrong format (not NTFS). And if I reformat it, windows will not install correctly. It gets most of the way through the installation process then when it gets to "getting ready" it freeze and makes no progress.

You may want to find a USB2 Flash drive. USB3s are problematic.
the ISO I used is the latest one on the widows website, may 2019 I think. Win10_1903_V1_English_x64.iso is the name of the file.
You may want to look for W10 1709 ISO and try with that. The newer ISOs are problematic on older Macs.
Look at steps 20 and 21 in Install Windows 7 on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support. This is valid on all Macs do not pre-format the partition to NTFS.
What is the year/model of your Mac (do not post the serial number)?
What is the current macOS version?
Can you click on 'Show Details' and post the message screen?
What is the file name of the W10 ISO?
Are you using a USB2 Flash drive as the Windows Installer that was built by BCA?

Nice! You issue seems to point to the USB3 flash drive.
It’s a late 2013 MacBook Pro 13” running Mojave 10.14.15
on the windows setup window I have no button for “drive options”.

Yes I did look at steps 20 and 21, and as I said, there is no "dive options" button, and when I format the partition, windows begins installing, but freezes and never finishes the installation.

I do not have a USB2 drive. I attempted using the W10 1709 ISO on my USB3 drive and the result was the same failure.
