Opening a file with a forgotten password

So I have this file and I want to open it. The only problem is that theres a password on it and I can't rember what it is. Is there any way I can open the file/document bypassing the password? Thanks, Neel

That file will remain locked until you remember your password.

That is why when you set a password on a Pages for Mac document that you check that little box about remembering the password in your keychain. If you had done so, the file would have just opened without requiring your password — as long as it was in your account. Or keep your passwords on paper in a safe place.
