Buying a Gift Card in Foreign Country and using it to pay a subscription

Can I use an Apple gift card to pay for my yearly subscription to an App, if I purchase the card in a foreign country? The issue is that for the moment I can't use my credit card that is linked to my apple account.

No. iTunes Store gift cards can only be redeemed or spent in the country they originated from.
