What should i do?

My iPad’s battery life is miserable. I checked its battery health percentage using imazing and it showed 75%.I am not in a financial position to go and purchase a new battery for my ipad since i have currently invested money in an expensive  product 🤦🏻‍♂️. I am planning to downgrade my iPad’s iOS version to 10 or 9. Will an older software consume lesser power when compared to the newer ones.Currently I'm running iOS 12.1.1? So should i downgrade my iOS version? And which version would be perfect?

You are incorrect about that.

There is NO WAY to downgrade the iOS for any iDevice.

iOS backups only save iOS settings and app data. Not anything to do with saving of an iOS version.

You are mistaken about this.

Apple has never stayed signed to an iOS upgrade/update for more than 1or 2 weeks after initial release.

You will NOT be able to downgrade the iOS on that iPad.

Not going to happen.

Sorry.

Maybe you should upgrade that iPad to iOS 12.3.1

You will have to save up for a battery replacement.

Have you changed any of your iPad's settings to help with battery conservation?

In Settings app

Turn off WiFi and Bluetooth when not needed.

Reduce screen brightness.

Turn ON Reduce motion.

Turn OFF Background App Refresh for ANY apps that do not need background updating or totally turn OFF Background App Refresh globally for ALL apps.

Set your mail to fetch manually when you launch the mail app.

Set screen lock for its shortest setting

Turn OFF automatic app updates.
