Accessing Files on New iPad from Old iPad

Hello,

I recently had to return my iPad back to my high school with all of its files saved through iCloud, but I had to reset the iPad. Now, I have a new iPad, and I was wondering if I could access the files from my old iPad on my new one because they were backed up through iCloud? Thanks so much. :)

If you were using the same Apple ID on the old iPad that you are using on the new iPad, you can restore the backup which will restore your app data and files unless you were syncing files with iCloud using iCloud Drive.

If you were using the Files app and iCloud Drive on the school iPad, turning on iCloud Drive in the settings and then turning on the apps that used iCloud Drive in the Files app will allow access to the files in the corresponding apps.
