How can I permanently delete messages to free up space on my phone?

Great question as we all are looking for ways to free up space on our devices. There are several ways to free up space on your iPhone, in your case you want to permanently delete messages.
Follow these steps to delete your messages:
- Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
- Find Messages in the app list.
