Itunes/Apple Music won't connect

On my Mac laptop the iTunes/Apple Music won't connect to the internet even though the internet is working. I tried to restart my computer and closed the program but it still doesn't connect.

MacBook Air 11", macOS 10.14

See If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or Apple Books - Apple Support. You may need to resolve an issue with your firewall.
