Why can’t I firmly press to customize my watch face anymore ? I’ve reset it and it still doesn’t do anything when I firmly press it

Apple Watch keeps resetting its face when restarted. Whenever I turn my watch on, I have to re-select and re-configure my chosen face, but however often I do this, it's back to the other random face again the next time I turn the watch on. It's getting to be very tedious. I've tried removing the other faces from my phone, but it doesn't actually remove anything from the watch. Anyone have any ideas how I can stop this? Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you Unpair your Watch and repair it. Then try it.
