Documents taking up iCloud storage but there are no documents in my iCloud drive?!
Good Afternoon,
I have been using iCloud for a while now and I always had my documents and data from my MacBook put onto my iCloud drive, then I started editing video and all of my storage was soon filled up (200gb).
I have now gone into the MacBook settings and turned off Documents and Desktop folders, and then gone into the folder for iCloud Drive on my MacBook and removed everything from the documents and desktop folders, and put them onto my MacBook only. NO DOCUMENTS are in the iCloud folders yet it still says that there is 125.58GB of storage taken up by Documents. How do I get that removed from my iCloud Storage because I need that space for photos and videos.
The things that are checked in my iCloud are:
iCloud Drive - Books, Keynote, Numbers, Pages, Mail and System Preferences
Photos - iCloud Photos
Contacts
Calendars
Reminders
Safari
Notes
Keychain
Find My Mac
Update, I tried to see if I could uncheck the photos backup while I deleted some from there and now it won't let me recheck it because it says I need to update my iCloud Storage.
Many Thanks,
Dana
