Yes...it's possible. But, it would help us to know what model of MacBook Pro and what model of smart TV you have. Usually this is done with Apple TV, but there is a way to do it wirelessly without AppleTV. It's called AirPlay. Check in the App store to see if there's an app that'll let you do that. Should be called "Cast" something. If you want to do it with a cable, that's easy enough. You'll be looking at the Thunderbolt 3 ports (there aren't many ports on 'em any more) which supports miniDisplayPort. So....you'd need a miniDisplayPort to High speed HDMI cable that supports audio, 3d and maybe 4k---of whatever length you need. I don't know if you're trying to do it wirelessly or with a cable, so I've given you my best answer. Also, when you connect the cable, you'll have to go to displays and select your smart tv, turn on mirroring, and change the input on the smart tv to which ever one you plugged that cable into. The only other thing I could tell you is that if it doesn't say supports audio, 3d and 4k, then it doesn't.
