iCloud storage

Hi I got 50gb storage from apple on top of my 16gb from my phone yet it keeps asking me my storage is full despite having 18gb free from iCloud and 4 fb free from phone why is it doing this

iPhone 5s, iOS 12

iCloud storage is for syncing and backups. Buying iCloud storage does not increase the amount of available storage on your phone. The only way to upgrade the storage on your phone is to buy a new phone with more storage.

What might “4 fb” possibly mean?

Your iCloud storage has absolutely nothing to do with your iPhone storage.

Check Settings > General > iPhone Storage and be certain your free space never fails below 10% of your total storage.
