Camera rolls

So my wife and I have separate camera rolls but I would like to merge the camera rolls, so that I can see her pictures and she can see mine. Is it possible to do this?

iPhone 8, iOS 12

The closest would be in Family Sharing, but you cannot share the same Camera Roll. Even if you had the same Apple ID on your devices, which should not be done, it would not allow you to share the same Camera Roll. Each phone is still going to have its own separate Camera Roll.

The easiest is to use iCloud Photos and create a shared folder. Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support

Are you already using Family Sharing? Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support That also lets you share photos.

That would require manually adding photos. I have some shared albums with extended family. Is it possible for 2 different apple ids to share a common camera roll?
