Unknown people showed up in my contacts list when I connected to TikTok

When I allowed TikTok to search my phone contacts for matches it came up with 5 foreign people from my contacts who I don’t know. I don’t see them in my contacts list but I have been having a issue with some of my things being hacked. My contacts is not synced with mail or with Facebook. Why would these people show up on my phone and could my phone be hacked?
