We have a family sharing plan, and wanted to know if when an app is downloaded, does the family organizer get notified of the downloaded application? We are setting our kids up with phones and want to know if our family organizer will get notified when our kids download free apps.

When you set up other members, specifically kids, you will have the option to turn on "Ask to Buy." When that is enabled, when they want to download an app you will get a notification to approve the purchase or reject it. You will have a link to view the app and get a notification of the cost. Just know that once you have approved it, even if the app is deleted, they will have the option to download it again without any notification. At this time an approval is considered approved forever. If you decide not to turn on "Ask to Buy" you will not get any notifications about app downloads.

From your question I am not sure who is asking this question, (Family Organiser or Family Member). If family members are asking this question then you should speak to your Family organiser.
