Copy and paste in Pages
When I copy and paste a website from Safari or Firefox, it comes out as a line, not text. How do I show the text instead of the line.

Hi Ski99,
Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. As I understand, you want to copy and paste text from a website into Pages, but you're are seeing a "line" instead.
Check out Copy and paste text from the Pages User Guide. Try "Paste and match the style of the text where you’re pasting: Choose Edit > Paste and Match Style."
Have a fantastic day!
Unlike TextEdit, LibreOffice, or MS Word, Pages neither imports nor exports HTML/CSS content — and that inhibits its ability to copy/paste identical text formatting from websites. You may have to paste into TextEdit first, and then, because that content is now RTF content, you may experience better results copy/pasting into Pages afterward.
