Series 4 watch not vibrating

My new series 4 watch does not vibrate when alerts are received.

The haptic is turned on and I've selected prominent as the strength. Crown haptic is working when i scroll, just not for incoming calls, messages, emails, alarms etc. Is there anything else i can check?

Make sure your Watch is not in Do Not Disturb, Silent Mode, or Theater Mode. These will disable the notification tones, but not things like Crown Haptics.

Reset your Watch by pressing in the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both.
