Apple Watch battery drain

Recently having severe power drain on battery needs recharging in 8 hours, before it would last 24 hours. No changes to watch. Any clues?

Make sure your iPhone and Watch have the latest software updates. Next, reset your watch by pressing in the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both.
