I have just bought new a Supereye M2 16gb mp3 player. Does anyone know if this mp3 player is supported by Apple? The reason I ask is that I plug it into my computer and the player isn't found anywhere and I can't transfer any music to it. Any ideas anyone?
iTunes is only designed to sync with Apple's devices. With third party mp3 players you can normally drag and drop from the media folder to the device in Finder.

I've just purchased the same mp3 player, except it's an M3 rather than an M2 and I've just put music on it from my macbook pro. Mp3 player shows in the finder and on the desktop. I put music on from itunes - you have to do each track separately, it won't do a playlist as a one-er. Try plugging mp3 player in a few times and check connections are firm.
Very odd, I would normally expect third party players to be compatible with Mac and Windows, but perhaps this one isn't. I can find them advertised on Amazon, but any form of company website where one might look for support seems to be well hidden.

Thanks for this. The problem is that when I plug it in, it doesn't even register in Finder - there's no sign of it on my Mac. Is this normal or is there something wrong with the thing?
