Mojave Time Machine fix

Hey,

I can't reply to this thread (thanks Apple)https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8561149?answerId=250642135022#250642135022 so I decided to create a new one with my solution.

All you need to do is to exclude the hidden folder /.DocumentRevisions-V100

Now my backups are working fine again.

In previous Mac OS versions there was a possibility to Right-click on the folder or file to remove backups for and choose ‘Delete All Backups of “FileName”‘ and confirm the the removal. Time machine never completes backup P. Phillips, I read your post with interest as I have been experiencing ™ backup issues since I recently upgraded to Ventura. My original ™ external drive had worked with no issues. I thought I might as well reformat it and start with a fresh ™ backup for Ventura. Same issue, days and days of backing up with no end in sight. I started backing up to a fresh drive I know had no problems. Same issue days and days of backing up with no end in sight. Looking at the new ™ backup drive has an unfamiliar look to the files. Seems like on a daily basis it is trying to back up my whole drive?? I have taken some screenshots to see if you might be able to provide me with some direction, if so I appreciate it.

Why can't I see my Time Machine backup files? Hi, everyone. I had an iMac i5 and I had a Time Machine backup. Now it is broken and I have bought a MacBook M2 so I've decide to recover the Time Machine files. I saw that there are it a lot files. So, I've decided to deleted some back up directories (first 10 back up that I've ever done, so NOT ALL). Now I see the latest folders (lastest backups that I've done), but the only files there are it, is the files in the Download directory. I think it is impossible to recover the other one files (beacuse in the Time Machine there are only 20GB, but it should be contain 200GB), but I want to know why this is happened Thanks in advance.
