The lyrics for iTunes Store music and Apple Music subscription music, are part of the file. As such, a change in lyrics would necessitate a new version upload of that music by the content owner or distributors.


As an artist/content owner, get in contact with your distributor/encoding house.

As a consumer, get in contact with the content owner, or give feedback to Apple, so that the message may be passed on.
