Why do I get the response "unable to create new mailbox" when I am trying to set a new one up?

Why do I get the response "unable to create new mailbox" when I am trying to set a new one up?

I'm not sure why you can't.
One place to check however, would be to go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Account Changes and make sure you don't have Don't Allow checked.
Use the Contact Support Button at the top of this screen to contact Apple Support, or schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for more assistance.
One more question though. Is your iPad under any Mobile Device Management software from an employer, by any chance?
It won’t let me add any new mailboxes,,,why?
