Insufficient memory specs

I bought 2666MHz DDR4 memory for my iMac 27" 2019 according to the support article, but it doesn't fit the card slots! The cards are about twice as wide as the card slots. I guess there must be some information missing, like the number of pins or similar that I should be looking for?

I also tried to put back in the old memory cards that were in before. They all don’t snap in! Adding memory cards to 2020 iMac Retina 5K, 27" Can I add 16 GB 2666 MHz DDR4 to my iMac that has two 4GB 2667 MHz DDR4 installed (total 8GB)? I couldn't find 4 GB memory cards for sale, only 8 GB cards. Processor is 3.3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5; AMD Radeon Pro 5300 4GM, Ventura 13.0.1; built-in Retina display, 27-inch. I can live with the memory I have to if there's no card available. Sometimes I have too many apps open and I get a warning about not enough RAM. Just wondering. Update: I just checked the Activity Monitor and it's in the green with 14 apps open! So maybe I'm okay but would still like to know if it's possible to add memory despite not finding the exact cards. Thanks

RAM configuration from the factory? What is the memory configuration in an iMac Pro 2017 from the factory? It came with 32G of RAM. I know there are 4 memory slots, so does that mean there are 4 8G cards? 2 16G cards?

Be careful where you buy, a lot of places do not carry specific ones for Macs and Macs are very finicky about their RAM.

Thanks, it seems the key missing information is the "SO-DIMM 260 Pin" part. The ones I bought at dxshop.se were apparently "DIMM 288-pin"... Bummer.
