I tried that many times. Nothing has worked. It won't charge. The screen remains completely black. Since there was no physical damage, a tech friend thinks it's a defective or disconnected battery. It was fine in the morning @ 100% charge when I read the digital newspaper. In the afternoon, it was black...dead. And it's only a couple years old.
Yeah,
Bring it into your nearest, “local” Apple Store for diagnosis, evaluation and potential options.
Something hardware related has gone wrong.
Best of Luck to You!
Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?
Thanks. I figured that’s what I thought.
