Updates don't install

The App Store app shows that there are updates available for four applications that are on my iMac running MacOS X 10.14.5. The updates appear to download but are not installed and the update available flag isn't cleared

Hide the 4 apps in question in the Trash, where the Mac App Store can't see them.


Download each app fresh and you'll get the latest version.


After you have the new versions, empty the Trash.
