Apple ID

I just created a new password and "verification failed, there was an error connecting to the Apple ID server." still appears. I changed wifis a bunch of times too.

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.
