Can I reactivate my account?

Yes. If you request account deactivation, you'll receive a unique alphanumeric access code. When you're ready to reactivate your Apple ID, contact Apple Support, provide your access code, and we’ll help you reactivate your account. If you lose this code, we won't be able to help reactivate your account.

You are welcome. You can't reactivate your ID yourself. You have to call Apple Support and they can reactivate it once you supply the code number. Scroll further down the page and there are contact telephone numbers for various counties.

Then contact Apple Support to have it activated.

Just how log ago is "the past"? By calling Apple, I think thy would reopen it, but that is only within a miniscule period of time. So, if "the past" is many moons ago🌙, then it's not going to be able to be recovered "just like that."
