My iphone7 had to be replaced because of a software issue. Before it was replaced I used my thumbprint to unlock my NOTES. Now using my thumbprint is not an option and it wants a password I don't remember ever setting up. Unfortunately, resetting the password is not an option. Suggestions on how to fix this?

You had to set up a password before you could enable fingerprints. You were also given the option of adding a password hint. You will need that password to unlock your notes. Without it you will never be able to access those notes. You can create a new password. When you next try to access a locked note it will display the password reminder (if any).

Thank you Lawrence. Unfortunately, I don't remember that password and I saved all my passwords in my locked notes. I guess I'm just out of luck.
