iPhone disabled and forgot password

I was stupid enough to forget my iphone password , so of course after hundreds fail attempts my phone was disable i tried fixing it with itunes but it kept giving my the same error message ( yes the itunes was up to date) now the phone is stuck on restore mode and i don’t know what to do . please help
