Is it right that my Apple Watch keeps recording my resting energy even when I take off my watch at night?

Yes strange one. Try reset of your Watch. Press the crown and side button in untill the Apple logo appears. Also Check your Watch is updated to 5.2.1and your iphone is running ios 12.3.1. Finally Unpair your Watch and repair it.

But when I go to “Show All Data” under my Health app and check all “All Recorded Data”, it clearly indicates that I am burning resting energy during the sleeping hours when I do not usually wear my watches. Is there any setting that I have to fix for this problem?
I’m having terrible problems with accuracy of calories in general with series 4. Also, the resting calories aren’t your basal metabolic rate, which is crazy. It should change day to day.
