Hello everyone, I recently had to reinstall macOS Mojave and realized that I now have two drives as follow:
I am not sure how this happened. Additionally, both drives have folders called "mnt", "net", "opt", and "sw". Any ideas of what this could be? Is my computer infected with a malware? (Ran anti virus and malware detector softwares but nothing came up). Please help.

You'd have to be running Catalina to get those two drives. Its not malware. You upgraded to Catalina and its only in beta currently.
If you select About This Mac from the Apple menu, does it say you are running Mojave?

Hi I have same issue, my problem is that the Macintosh HD Data has around 230 GB of system storage file which I can't get rid of and I am running out of space on my MBP. Tried to find the culprit file to delete it but have been unsuccessful. Any suggestions?
You are violating both the confidentiality agreement you made with Apple and the Terms of Use of this forum. Go to the appropriate place to discuss beta software. You should have been informed of that location when you agreed to keep quiet about it in exchange for using the Beta.
Just saw this, it says it’s a newer system. Just wondering if this is normal (is there any place else I could look for help about this)?
Apparently you signed up for MacOS Catalina Public Beta which is the only
version of macOS that is "newer" than Mojave and cannot be discussed
on these forums as it is not a released product.
Go to your apps > utilities > disk utilities and then unmount and erase Macintosh HD - Data. That shouldn’t effect the files on Mojave at all and it should clear the space you need
