Sidebar on right in Finder windows????

All my windows now have a sidebar on the right. Why? I've never seen this before. Is it something new in Mojave? Or evidence of malware?

Mac mini, macOS 10.14

Oh for goodness sake get a grip it is just the Preview window/ panel, whilst in Finder click View in the menubar and then click on Hide/ Show Preview.
