I just got an email about my iCloud being automatically locked. I have been asked to log in to verify but the email is making me nervous. Do I trust this? First time I have gotten a message like this since I got my first apple product eight years ago.

No. Forward it to reportphishing@apple.com as an attachment and then delete it.

It contains obvious spelling and grammatical errors. In addition, if an Apple ID actually gets locked, its owner will be told when they try logging into it instead of through email.
