How does this work??? The "name" of the device does not appear as an editable option. I only have disconnect and forget as options.

Carefully hidden under Step 3 is this statement, Some Bluetooth accessories can't be renamed.
Not all devices can be renamed. If the option is grayed out, then that device doesn’t support the feature.
I have a pair of brand new Toshiba BT 5.0 wireless EarPods and they cannot be renamed either. Same thing with other older WiFi headsets and BT hands free devices I have owned. I’m not sure I’ve ever been able to rename any of my BT devices over the years.
Yes. With the exception that the option is not there at all. And is frustrating because it for 3 different devices, of which I have multiple of the same brand. Like I have 2 sets of headphones I bought for me and my daughter of the same brand and as such it shows up in my phone under the brands name for each one. The same is true for 2 bluetooth speakers of the same brand, so they show up by the brands name. However of the 5 devices in my phone, none of them allow me to name them. So I thought it was a bigger problem.
