AppleWatch weather has incorrect wind direction arrow

In the default weather app for Apple Watch, the wind direction "arrow/triangle" should be pointing in the direction TO which the wind is blowing. The arrow is currently placed in the proper location, but is turned 180 degrees incorrectly. For example, if the wind direction is from the North, the arrow is correctly placed at the top of the compass (the North) but the direction of the arrow should show the wind is blowing FROM the North TO the South (arrow/triangle should be pointing down). Currently the arrow is pointing up (North).

To help understand, wind direction is always stated as the direction from which the wind is blowing. A "north" wind is coming FROM the north blowing TO the south, and a "west" wind is coming FROM the west, blowing TO the east.

The display looks correct in my opinion, simply your interpretation does not match mine. Consider the wind symbol as a stylized representation of the wind indicator typically used on a tv weather map, a circle with the wind strength (numbers) and an arrow pointing to the source of the wind. For example a north east wind indication would look something like the male gender symbol with the arrow about 2 o’clock. However, in the watch app the central circle and arrow shaft are omitted and only the head is shown.

I think we're both correct, upon further research it depends upon the frame of reference, either meteorological or Oceanographic symbols, per the attached link blog. I was thinking from a sailing perspective, where the arrow points in the same direction the wind is blowing TO, whereas you are thinking of the meteorological perspective, where the arrow points in the direction the wind is blowing FROM. Thank you for your response!

I'm not sure what you are speaking of regarding a wind direction arrow in the Watch default Weather app? I know of no such thing. The app will state the wind direction, such as WNW & list a speed 7mph, but there isn't an arrow involved on my watch.

The arrow next to the name Seattle, is a standard Location icon and is designating that Seattle is the current city where my watch is located. And it always points in that same direction in all the apps that I've seen it used in.
