Trasferring
when i get a new iphone.. since i have had one in the past if i use the old sim card from the past iphone can i make a new apple id but have the same contacts, photos, etc.?

If you make a new Apple ID, you will lose access to the data and purchases associated with the old ID. Why do you want a new ID? If you do a name change to your current ID, you will retain access to your data and purchases.
