I purchased an Apple watch that is apple ID locked. I have no idea who the previous owner is.....how do I find out or unlock it?

Since that watch is Activation Locked, you will forever find it useless to you. There are no options for finding the previous owner.

That is what I thought. Do you think that if the previous owner deactivated it at some point it will work for me?
