Airpods keep disconnecting

My AirPods keep disconnecting randomly from my phone, making it really annoying for me to use them. Usually, I have to "Forget" the bluetooth connection with my AirPods and re-pair it again in order to get them to connect again. Why is this happening? It is extremely frustrating.

AirPod Bluetooth disconnects after non use I connect my AirPods to my iPhone 12. After a day or two of non use, when I go to use the AirPods, they will not connect to the phone. Each time I have to “forget” the airpods on the phone and reconnect them via Bluetooth. Help?
