App issues with new iPhone (XR)

So, I got a new phone yesterday. I reset my Apple password. My Apps show up-to-date in the App store but when I attempt to use an App it asks me to verify my Apple password. And the verification fails. I am sure I am using the correct password. What am I missing?

I do that and when I put the password in the App Store it still won’t work even when I reset the password pls help me When I go to the App Store and I want to update an app it says to sign I put the password and it says it’s incorrect even if I reset the password also when it tells me to put my phone number and the verification code again and if I put them again it says verification failed an unknown error occurred. Can you help me?
