Excel has the simple formula [=SUM(Alpha:Omega!C22)],
Alpha being the name of the first relevant sheet and Omega being the name of the last sheet in the workbook. The function sums the values of the cell C22 in Alpha, Omega and all the sheets between them.
Now I’ve spent quite some time cracking my brain trying to figure out same on Numbers but I haven’t been successful. Any help will be duly appreciated. Thank you.

you will have to sum them individually. there is no equivalent.
something like this:
="Alpha"::"Table 1"::A1 + "Form 1"::"Table 1"::A1 + "Form 2"::"Table 1"::A1 + "Omega"::"Table 1"::A1
or
=sum( "Alpha"::"Table 1"::A1, "Form 1"::"Table 1"::A1, "Form 2"::"Table 1"::A1, "Omega"::"Table 1"::A1)
In Numbers you can refer to a cell on other tables of other sheets using the canonical form:
<SHEET>::<TABLE>::<CELL RANGE>
So if you wanted to refer to cell A1 of "Table 1" on the sheet named "Alpha", you would use the reference:
"Alpha"::"Table 1"::A1
you can always post feedback to Apple using the Numbers menu item "Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback…"

Thank you for responding. However, I think you misunderstood the problem I have been facing. I know how to reference cells from other sheets. I know how to manually sum them all up wherever I want to. What I’d like to know is how to replicate the excel formula I started with, to execute the same task but in Numbers.

Be aware that Numbers is a consumer level spreadsheet application, is not an MS Excel clone, and was, by all indications, never intended to be one. Excel contains a large number of functions not currently supported in Numbers, and likely always will.
